S.O.F.T Cars, MIT
S.O.F.T stands for Sustainable Omni Flow Transport, and it was the subject of a research and conceptual project carried out by MIT, in conjunction with architect Frank Gehry and General Motors.
What follows are a collection of images created out of the concepts and ideas the students had for what the future of transport might be. To reach a more ‘out of the box’ response to the brief, the students were tasked with exploring it from the point of view of an architect.
The final show cars will be presented in 2011.
