Artega SE Electric Sports Car
The electric sports car market is a little empty right now with the Tesla Roadster being the only occupant. All this could be about to change, and the market for such cars is about to feel a whole lot more crowded! German car manufacturer Artega has just unveiled its Artega SE (Sport Electric) model. Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show, Artega are aiming for 500 a year from 2012, with a guide price of €150,000. Not exactly cheap!
If the price hasn’t scared you off, you’ll be happy to know that it’s packing 375 bhp, with an estimated top speed of over 155MPH. A range of 124 miles should at least mean you wont breakdown around the corner! The stand out feature is a stated charge time for the battery of only 90 minutes on commercial charging stations. Impressive to say the least!
