‘P-Eco’ – Piezoelectric car of the future?
Could piezoelectric generation form the basis for a whole new generation of vehicles? A S. Korean industrial designer, Jung-Hoon Kim has designed the P-Eco electric vehicle that incorporates just such a system. Positioned just in front and behind the drivers seat, the vibrating cord system charges the battery once the vehicle is in motion, enhancing the vehicles range.
The P-Eco was designed for entry into the Michelin Design Challenge 2011 which was created to foster and promote greater design in cars.
