The brilliant thing about the internet is that over time, when browsing you discover/rediscover some truly quality content! Yesterday, whilst looking through my favourite sites I stumbled upon this beauty: A custom motorcycle from the 1930′s with amazing art deco styling.

Underneath all that impressive bodywork is a 1930 Henderson Motorcycle, modded by a gentleman called O. Ray Courtney just prior to the outbreak of WW2. The bike was introduced to the world in June 2010 at the Rhinebeck Grand National Meet, a motorcycle show just north of NYC.

    So sad . . . days of splendor, an age gone by! Now we struggle, Mom and Pop both out to work, slamming Jap cars through the traffic, praying for and economic break, getting only higher gas prices in spite of the Iraq sacrifices.
    Once upon a time, in the age of the wringer-washer, wood stoves, radio soap operas, when America was ideal, we had beautiful motor cycles, great land-cruiser cars, stay-at-home Moms, egg man, grocery man. coal man, ice man, paper boy, Fuller brush man, ready to serve.
