Video – Abandoned Amusement Park
A sad testament to our seemingly endless ability to build things, and then allow them to be abandoned and decay. Here in the west, our ability to waste materials, space and money is never ending.
That being said, this is a wonderful video providing a window into the world of an abandoned theme park. Somewhat ironically, this sad, depressing place is the Joyland Amusement park in Wichita, Kansas. For many I’m sure this palce holds wonderful memories, for others such as myself who have never visited, its a strong reminder of an incomplete architectural lifecycle.
