Urban Shortfilm – Exploring the city via Parkour
Here at Habitables we take a keen interest in how filmakers explore the urban landscape, as well as how regular people use and respect it on a daily basis. In this short film, entitled ‘Urban’ by Vladimir Teneslav, there is a chance to view the city from a different perspective; from that of a parkour practitioner, set in a fictional chase scene.
What we get from this different angle view on the notional idea of the city is that regular boundaries that exist when you stick to the recognised ‘rules’ of traversing your way around town disappear when you climb, jump run a roll your way from A to B.
We love cities, and we love parkour, so expect plenty more of both in the future!
