Scottisharchitecture.com – Superb Architecture Site

Media

ScottishArchitecture.com is the website for Architecture and Design Scotland’s ACCESS to Architecture program – and we think it’s one of the best sites dedicated to architecture we’ve come across on the internet.

Sometimes, it seems looking for good architects website is like looking for a needle in a giant pile of haystacks – there really aren’t that many! This isn’t to say it’s impossible, but you have to look very, very hard.

Intuitive and colourful navigation

The site is a portal to discovering all the ACCESS program has to offer, from events taking place in Scotland, to new buildings and projects. One of the sites best points is its strong educational section, giving both students and teachers the chance to experience architecture in a way that makes it interesting.

The ‘Highlights’ section of the site

The website exhibits a useful and intuitive navigation system that defines areas of the site by colour. Being this is a website about architecture, its only fitting that it utilises a very strong visual navigation. The site should become a great hub for not just architects and students in Scotland, but for anyone with an interest in the latest architectural news from north of the border.
