Architecture Photo of the day #3 – Realism
Quite often I think we all forget that to many, architecture is nothing more than a word, and the buildings they work and live in hold no value. Todays daily photo drives this home. I unfortunately have no back story for the photo, but I think it is fairly self descriptive. I wish I was able to say where in the world it is.
For the occupants of this building, great architecture is not something they experience. It holds no meaning for people who call a place such as this home, its value is lost to awful design and conditions. A sad photo to remind all architects that for every person out there wishing to support great architecture, there are thousands more in need of it.
