Architecture Photo of the day #15 – Edge
Yesterday, I spoke about the importance of looking up at architecture. Well, today I’m going to ask you to look down! We live in a time that most cities contain at least some form of high rise building, and chances are unless it is completely private, you have the opportunity to venture up to a point where you can view the city. The view from the top down is simply amazing. Much like looking out of the window of a plane, the world seems different, calmer, almost serene from above. This disconnected feeling allow us to enjoy the buildings for what they are, rather than for what they provide us when we are on the ground and using them.
So today, if you have the chance – ascend and view the world around you from a higher vantage point!
Do you have an architecture photo on Flickr that you think we should feature? Why not drop us an email,
we’d love to hear from you!
