Architectural Photography Series #11 – Andy Spain
Andy Spain is a freelance architectural photographer working across the UK with designers, architects, developers, engineers and others from all over the building sector. He comes from a fine art background and studied photography to Masters level before embarking on a career in architectural photography.
He works on personal projects for exhibition, sale and self-promotion including, ecocites and suburbia which have appeared in the Telegraph, Evening Standard and blogs around the world.
“As well as shooting my commissioned architectural work I’m also keen to stretch the boundary of what an architectural photographer is, I’m experimenting with video, playing with Photoshop and trying to suggest new ways of seeing and understanding both architecture and photography”, Andy Spain.
