Navigating our way around our urban centres is at times a sensory overload. There are road markings, street signs, road names, parking signs, temporary signs, construction signs – in fact, there are even signs warning you of more signs ahead! With all this visual junk, its easy to miss the sign you really needed.

Architects Brut Deluxe Architecture + Design have installed these massive illuminated signs at 3 industrial parks in Madrid, Spain. These oversized markers are called Totem de.dos, and have been constructed out of galvanised steel with white polycarbonate. Safety glass tops the structure out.
