This photo could be considered beautiful, were it not for the content. This photo is of the water that has so far been diverted from the Mississippi River, and this volume of water represents tragedy for many thousands of people. Much like the photos we showed of the homemade levees, this photo is however proof of mans ability to engineer ways to deal with nature.
