Gorgeous Miniature Architects Workspace

I’m a sucker for miniature architecture chairs, they are simply gorgeous! Aside from not being able to afford the 1:1 replica versions, they just look good on a desk!

It turns out that I’m not the only person in utter love with minaturised furniture, and there is a whole group of people tirelessly reproducing all kinds of furniture for the model market.

Stephanie Kilgast is from France, and she runs Petit Plat. She recreates beautiful miniature food, to go with the mini tables and chairs! The Chair featured in these photos is made by REAC of Japan, a reproduction of the Aluminum Chair by Charles & Ray Eames.

These photos of a 1:12 scale architects office show the intricate detail that these models get to. The chair in these shots certainly look better placed than the one on my desk – the perfect work space for a Borrower?
