Bloated Table, Damien Gernay

This table may look like its being used as a drug mule, smuggling foreign objects across borders, but in fact its the Bloated Table – a delightful foam filled lather table. The table is the work of Belgian designer Damien Gernay.

The process of filling the leather table with foam means each table produced is unique, and without doubt is an interesting take on the humble table. Big fan of the strange and bizarre, I’m just glad that this table is bloated underneath and not on top – eating would be somewhat difficult otherwise!
