Awesome Huggy Armchair, Lago, Italy
Mattresses are comfortable, but don’t you sometimes wish they were more like chairs, or is it just me? Apparently not. Lago, an Italian design company have taken a mattress, and created a very inviting armchair. Aptly named the Huggy, this is certainly a chair that cuddles you!
The Huggy is a combination of a regular single mattress that is rolled and tucked into a cylindrical base that grips onto it. The central area which you sit on doubles up as a stool when out of the base. The mattress can be removed from the grip to serve as an emergency bed for guests. Designed by German designer Brit Leissler for Lago, it’s practical, yet possibly the most fun we’ve seen in a chair in a long time!
