Silver Wharf, London – Child Graddon Lewis Architects

Architecture

Located midway between the new Olympic stadium and Canary Wharf, this 0.61 hectare site sits opposite a large park at the end of a long row of warehouses, which are destined for redevelopment into a mixed-use community.

The 12-storey landmark element of the scheme, known as Ingot Tower, is situated at the junction of the canal and bridge, which is orientated towards a diagonal route through the park opposite and sets up a North/South geometry which generates distant views to Canary Wharf and the City from the site.
