Miniature Depictions, ‘The City’ – Lori Nix
There is something special about minaturised things – seeing every day objects or spaces and places on a smaller scale, things and locations we recognise, is always great, and I for one am a sucker for them! Artist Lori Nix produced a series of photos called ‘The City’ which depicted created environments in various stages of decay. These scenes portrayed spaces eroded by time, affected by their very existence, with the damaged, decaying nature of the scenes creating a more realistic and believable image.
