Fulham Residence – Studio Vranicki
This rear extension to a London terraced house is in Fulham, in the South West area of the city is by Studio Vranicki. This light, airy and spacious feeling extension has opened up this typical Victorian terrace, allowing the occupiers to greater space in this down stairs room. The large expanse of glass floods the space with light, the glazing in the roof makes the structure seem like its non existent.
This project comprises the remodelling of the rear ground floor extension of the terraced house in Fulham and its side garden,into a glass structure. The side extension is of a very light timber structure and features a cascading glass roof with openable window. The extension merges with the kitchen area into one space. The constant presence of ever-changing natural light has transformed the experience of living in this space.
