Fast Food Restaurants of Architectural Merit?

Architecture

The folks over at Flavorwire think this is perhaps an unfair view, and to prove it, they’ve provided 10 examples of fast food restaurants with more design merit than your average. Whilst we don’t think the entire list is full of exceptionally good architecture, the three below are, by our reckoning, the best of the bunch.

What do you think, is fast food architecture really as poor as its calorie rich food, and if so, should we be making more of an attempt to make more of an effort, to raise the standard of our sub-par food venue architecture?

KFC, Keflavík, Iceland
