I’m a firm believer that data, and our ability to understand it will shape our world in the future. We are entering an unprecedented period whereby its becoming possible to generate and gather information from infinite sources and nodes. From a built environment point of view, all this data allows to better understand our cities and urban centres. The information comes from a wide range of data sets, in this instance, from the photography taken by those in New York.

The information on these photos is divided like so: Blue – Tourists, Red – Locals, Yellow – Either

Locals and Tourists #2 (GTWA #1): New York

Locals and Tourists #3 (GTWA #4): San Francisco

Locals and Tourists #5 (GTWA #20): Tokyo
