Burke House, Galway, Ireland – AQSO Arquitectos

This has to be the most uniquely shaped home I’ve seen this week. From AQSO Arquitectos, this residential property in Glaway, Ireland is the epitome of cool. The strong lines, bold shapes and expansive spaces make this home look futuristic and more likely to be found in a sci-fi film than Ireland in 2011.

“Starting from a traditional house scheme, the building extends to incorporate the landscape and to enclose a courtyard.
One volume rests on the other to capture views through a facade made by mobile louvers that control the interior light and privacy”, AQSO Arquitectos
