British Embassy, Warsaw – Tony Fretton Architects
If embassies are how countries present themselves abroad, then the Tony Fretton Architects designed Embassy in Warsaw, Poland paints an open, forward thinking and fresh view of modern Britain to the cities population. Designed with a south facing facade glass wall, with clean lines and strong angular design, the embassy is projecting a very positive image of Britain.
Not just a beautifully designed building, the structure has been designed to be as energy efficient as possible, working to maintain low energy useasge and a comfortable environment within. Warsaw is a city that experiences warm summers and extremely cold winters, so the building works hard to mitigate against energy waste throughout the year.
