Architecture Photo of the Day – #160 – New King’s Cross Station Concourse

Architecture

It’s all go, go, go in London right now, with architectural project, after architectural project, completing, or nearing completion in time for the summer olympics. The latest grand scale project to be thrust upon the architectural stage is the newly completed remodelling of King’s Cross Station, which, at a cost of £810 million, is one of the costliest single projects to have completed for the games.

We thought we would gather some of the best photography taken by regular people from Flickr, and share them with you! These shots capture the station remarkably well. What do you think of the new concourse? Beauty, or beast?
