Architecture Photo of the Day – #80 – New Addition
London’s financial district is undergoing a slight building boom, and over the next few years a number of new ‘talls’ will grace the skyline. Some are controversial, others seen as an architectural masterstrokes, perfect additions to the London skyline.
This photo was taken from inside the recently completed Heron Tower on Bishopsgate. This photo seems to capture rather nicely the very location that these buildings seems to exist, somewhere between the ground and the sky – never feeling truly rooted, and seemingly forever rising into the sky above.
